Alfy Posted April 3, 2016 Share Posted April 3, 2016 Hi everyone, Tried my first CMBS scenario yesterday. First thing that came as a shock, coming from WWII games, was the number of vehicles available to a stryker platoon; it almost felt like infantry was scarce. And I ended up losing, in big part because I wasn't comfortable in using these "not-quite-tanks" vehicles, and got a bit confused on the respective roles of each unit (it almost feels as if a M1126 should be used like an MG that carries its own fortified position with it...). Anyways, could anyone advise me on good reading material for modern infantry tactics, and more specifically mechanized infantry? Also, if anyone knows a good downloading site for the FM3-21.9 (SBCT Infantry Rifle Platoon and Squad), I haven't been able to find a link that works...
