tgra
I can'tr consider myself a serious war-gamer but I can't wait for CM. How much will I have to know about weapon types and how much will I be told in the manual?
Guest Big Time Software
The manual will touch on some of the basic principles of WWII warfare within CM's scope, but it can only scratch the surface. The game gives you all the info you need in terms of hard numbers, so when you combine the manual with the game, plus some experience playing, you should be fine. Also, the more books on warfare you have read the better you will be. In CM you can actually put what you learn from books into practice. Very few games can claim this (not without lots of exceptions). Steve
Rick
I can't remember, did you guys say the manual would also have a bibliography?
Guest Big Time Software
A selective one, yes. To toss in everything we have read to make Combat Mission would be a book all by itself Steve
