Guest Mike Posted December 21, 1999 Share Posted December 21, 1999 The 60mm mortars are not used for indirect fire - they have to see a atarget (or an area) and hit it directly. You wil find that the enemy doesn't see them very easily from a few hundred metres, so the'yre pretty safe when they stand back and do this. Moon Posted December 21, 1999 Share Posted December 21, 1999 The mortars on the map can only use direct fire, i.e. they need to have a line of sight to the target in order to fire.
