John Kettler Posted May 8, 2015 Share Posted May 8, 2015 In celebration of VE Day, every aircraft type the US built and flew during WW II will be in one of the 15 groups during the 3 hour flyover event. What's that? An outbreak of some malaise in the DC area? Fortunately, the cure is being outdoors, with likeminded others, head tilted back and gasping with delight! Bring everyone! The rest of us will have to make do with a live webcast. This may be the only time ever something like this occurs. Saturday, the planes may be seen at the Udvar Hazy at Dulles International Airport.
