Alexey K
Does rounds flying by infantry unit cause suppression, even if rounds fall well behind target unit? Or suppression is caused only by rounds hitting ground near target unit? Have some troubles suppressing enemy squads on reverse slope or in lowered ground.
Michael Emrys
Suppression is a complex issue involving the experience and morale of the firing unit but more importantly the defending unit as well as the terrain the defenders are occupying. Specifically, in the case you mention, bullets and fragments flying above and near would be expected to have some effect but not nearly as much as bullets or fragments actually striking among the soldiers, especially if any wounding has occurred. LUCASWILLEN05
Alexei That is very intelligent question The short answer is yes. Next time you play select a unit. At the bottom left/centre of your screenyou will see an inverted triangle At the start of the battle it will be gryd out. Hoever, as the battle progresses and this unit comes under fire he unit will gradually fill with colour as the unit comes underfire. The more this happens the more suppressed the uni in question becomes Edited February 12, 2015 by LUCASWILLEN05
