John Kettler
Was looking at some stuff on Hamas rockets and found this via a link from the aerospaceweb.org site. These are big razor sharp pics of rebuilding a Spitfire wreck back to as new specs. If you like planes, you'll love this. http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/battle-britain-see-how-spitfire-wwii-fighter-planes-are-restored-new-zealand-1456094 Bonus If you like what ifs, consider this super sleek fighter scything through the skies of England during the BoB. Looks like something out of Crimson Skies the video game! I do NOT believe this thing's any kind of jet. http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/wwii-fighter-jet-bugatti-100p-superplane-reconstructed-after-75-years-video-1438415 Regards, John Kettler

I think it was quite the most beautiful design of that era, or possibly any other, and it is a pity that it never flew. I understand that it may have been underpowered though, and the design as it existed would probably not have made a successful combat aircraft. As a racer though...
