Guest rune
OK, am at work and didn't have time after the download this morning to do more then 4-5 turns. I am sure they are covered someplace, but humor me and tell me the keys for: Cancelling a move. I clicked on a location to go to then click another place by accident, I didn't want my units going all over the place. Exiting the game. In the middle of battle, I wanted to save and exit the game. How do I do that? Remember, am at work, and didn't want to be late, so I didn't have time to look this up. First Impression: I only ordered two of these? Might have to change that. Moon
In order to cancel a move, use the backspace key. In order to cancel a fire order, use the X key. Use ALT-S to go to the savegame key. After saving it (you will be prompted for a filename), you can use ALT-Q to quit. To resume a saved game, you will have to start it up like a scenario. Mike D
It would sure be nice to be able to hit the escape key, F1, or something to quickly bring up the hot key list. Mike D aka Mikester
Rod
For all who haven't noticed (I didn't at first) There is a button on the interface which brings up a list of the hotkeys.
Moon
Uhh, right - Rod is right. I got so used to it, I forgot to mention it. There is a button labeled "HOTKEYS" right on the unit interface (visible when no unit is selected). Click on it and you'll get the complete list. Mike D
Saw the button. Used it lot's. Tired of having to go down there and click it over and over again. Would be infinitely simpler if I could just hit the F1 key to do this! Mike D Mikester
Moon
You'll need it a few times to memorize the hotkeys, then you'll use it without even thinking about it. It's all logical, too... Trees... T Weather... W Lables... L and on...
