Can't see explosions from mortars/tank rounds/artillery

When I shoot at something w/ my tank there's never explosions, I can't even see the tank round ever(as you can in some of Fionn and Moon's screen shots).same w/ mortars and Artillery...never any explosions, there will just be holes and house that were house but now rubble, is this because my comp sucks(which it does) or there isn't supposed to be any.

Sorry to ask if this has already been answered, if so please direct me...I tried searching but got nothing, and i'm too lazy to go through each topic.Thanks

That sounds like a problem with your video card/driver. Try to upgrade. It probably doesn't support a necessary DirectX "special effect."

The reason is your computer probably doesn't have the power to put out decent images (its like one frame every two or three seconds w/ mine) let alone something like explosions. I cant even see tracers .

Just get a faster video card (a faster 3D card doesnt hurt either) and it should work fine.

Yeah that's what I figured.

I finally saw my first building explode last night on the Last Defense Scenario....see tracers everynow and then, just one part...
