John Kettler
Want Han Solo's blaster, Marty McFly's hoverboard from Back to the Future, Michael Keaton's Batman costume and other fun stuff? Save your shekels, $, yuan, yen, pounds, Euros, etc. for the December 21st auction by Profiles in History (the outfit in SyFy's "Hollywood Treasures") at which you can bid on these goodies. TMZ has the story (Han Solo Blaster) and pics of the items. Some pretty amazing stuff. Am quite surprised it's even available to be auctioned. Pretty cool, but I wish I'd had the money back in the early 1970s to buy movie props when MGM held its huge auction! Wanted a pilum so badly I could taste it and was hoping for a shot at a Ben Hur catapult. Sigh. Regards, John Kettler
Hellmann
Haha yes I wanted those too, but wait for a moment... think of some items that would truly be unique to own... I always wondered *who* in the world it is who has Baron von Richthoven's collection that was reportedly looted from his home after his death. That sort of thing. Somebody out there, has those things, somewhere. A banker, perhaps? I doubt we will ever know.
