Heinrich505 Posted December 4, 2013 Share Posted December 4, 2013 I just finished this playing Axis versus AI on Warrior Level. I wanted to commend the Scenario designer. The map was very good, and the battle played out tight. The AI was pretty aggressive. Very nicely done. I managed a total victory when the AI surrendered but not until after giving a very good account of themselves. There were countless small battles as my men stalked the US boys through the hedgerows, and they stalked my Paras back. It was cool having Falshirmjäger to command. As my manpower was whittled down, each Para lost was painful, making me even more cautious. I can say there were many tense encounters and some even came down to one man stalking one enemy. There was one particular US Lieutenant who managed to survive the battle and ambushed every small group of Paras that I tried to hunt him down with. He was deadly with his carbine.
