rwcanuck
I know I should look back at previous posts to see if this was already questioned but are Sherman Calliopies in the game? I hear in the CC4 beta these fearsome AFVs are quite lethal.

Guest Big Time Software
Uhhhh... I'm trying to figure out what this vehicle is exactly I have the difinitive Sherman book here (Hunnicutt) and there isn't anything by that name in the index. Know what its designation was, or at least a description of it. I am sure I know what the heck it is, but not by the name you gave Steve
Guest R Cunningham
The sherman calliope was the one that had the turret mounted rocket launcher rack. I had a mongram model of one years ago. The post at Club SSI indicating that the calliopes were causing problems was a fraud. The guy is not a beta tester, but he is virulently anti-rockets in CC scaled games. I know him personally and he was quite tickled when he told me about his post.
Guest Big Time Software
Hehe... I THOUGHT that was the bugger. It is the one thing that Hunnicutt doesn't really talk about (just flipped through it again and couldn't find a single pic). No on-map rocket artillery. As cool as they are, these weapons are not appropriate for CM's map sizes. Steve
