John Kettler Posted May 9, 2013 Share Posted May 9, 2013 In playing CMBN, I've belatedly noticed Panther crews have only pistols. Yet, even 251s have an MP-40 in the AFV, on special brackets. Am not sure whether or not this is implemented in the game, but the vehicle interior shots show this to be the case, and I've presented that evidence elsewhere.The German post-Kursk training film excerpt clearly shows, circa 7:15, the Panther carried at least one, and it's shown here being used from the pistol port. Why is there not at least one MP-40 shown on the crew personal armament roster? (Retires to research a bit, then returns) I don't know what the situation was earlier, but there is no MP shown in the TO&E as of November 1944.
