Captured troops

Recommended Posts

No, you don't have to do anything special with them. If the enemy surrenders to you, then they should count as captured.

It is, however, possible that they can be freed if their own forces move close enough to them, or if all of your troops move away.

So, I guess I'll modify my initial comment and say that you should move prisoners toward some of your other rear area troops. Support weapons that are behind your assault forces or crews from destroyed vehicles make reasonable guards.

POW duty is a waste of a valuable asset for your company HQs. They can command the slower moving support weapons during an advance, help rally broken troops, or command a specially chosen task force of squads plucked from various platoons and other units.
