Thank you gentlemen for you input. I'm not very computer literate...okay, I don't know the first thing about them. However, I sure appreciate this information. Thanks again.

Installed the Paradox version of the game today. The cursor is extremely jerky. When I click the "Ok" button in the briefing screen, I always get this error message before it crashes to the desktop. The letters are a bit blurry too. I attached the DxDiag in a zip. I couldn't get it small enough otherwise. Sorry about that. DxDiag3d.zip

My favorite was the result of a mistake on my part. I had an M8 Greyhound pop out of cover and was suddenly facing two Panthers at about 100 meters. The Panthers were busy taking out a halftrack at long range and apparently had no idea my guys were so close. I meant to reverse my M8 back into cover, but instead gave it the fast move command. Oops. Well, as my little Greyhound charged, the Panthers started traversing their turrets in order to kill my little misguided hero. Too late. In the next turn the M8 was behind the Panthers, and killed them both with shots to the rear. Then it killed a platoon HQ, and routed a squad which was supporting the Kraut armor. Its work done, the M8 smugly returned to my lines.

The freaks at PETA would never allow it. :mad:

I play PBEM. However, after reviewing the results of my last few games (dismal showing on my part), maybe I should play more against the A/I.

I would really hope adults do not consider themselves elite because of the number of posts they have made. There is no heirarchy here, no matter what some would have you believe. This is the first time I've read this thread since I posted in it last. My comment now does seem very sarcastic and "completely uncalled for" (thanks Pantherbait). I apologize for offending you.

No, I don't believe that is correct. They are coming out with an entirely new engine, but I don't know what it will cover.
