WWIIRulz Posted August 30, 1999 Share Posted August 30, 1999 I've read that in this game if you have a damaged tank in a friendly area at the end of a mission you can repair it for the next mission. But what if it is in enemy territory, can the enemy repair it and use it? Guest Big Time Software Posted August 31, 1999 Share Posted August 31, 1999 No, there is absolutely no reusing captured equipment. In reality this didn't happen more than a few times. The more common event was to haul the vehicle back so that it could at least get new national markings put on it. There are no documented cases I have ever seen of US troops using captured German armored vehicles in front line service. I have seen them using HTs and soft skin vehicles behind the lines for short times though (ex: get it out of the combat zone with wounded).
