John Kettler
Rad2474, Welcome aboard! We have plenty of British gamers here, but why limit yourself to PBEM with your countrymen when you can PBEM with anybody in the world who has CMBN and an adequate Internet connection? The turn files are now so gigantic compared to what you're used to they can no longer go out as E-mail attachments, forcing the use of systems such as DropBox. The imac to PC issue isn't a problem, but the game version is. Currently, CMFI has a more advanced game engine called CMx2 V 2.0, whereas CMBN is Version 1.3. Version 2.0 will soon be released for CMBN, giving it the bells and whistles now found solely in CMFI. Once that occurs, you will have to make sure that both players are running the same version. Also, as it is now, both players playing a module to the game, say, CW, MUST each have that module, else no game is possible. Hope this helps.
