Greg Scurlock
I got a copy of this just before christmas I would recommend it to any of you. Not like CM but doesn't try to be. I like HPS, a small guy like BTS. They're on our side and trying to do a good job. I like to support them when I can and the game is fun, very big. Should pass a lot of time with it while waiting for you know what.
Berlichtingen
What or who is HPS, and where does one find it?
Guest John Maragoudakis
Here's the link to HPS : http://www.hpssims.com/ Over at Computer Games Online at: http://www.cdmag.com/articles/025/009/smolensk_review.html they mention...
quote:
The game is turn-based. It defaults to pure I-go/you-go, with automatic defensive fire (good for multiplayer or, especially, play-by-e-mail), but if you have the time on your hands and you prefer the style you can also choose to break up your turns into phases (movement, fire, assault, defensive fire, etc.). That sort of sequencing prevents some gamey tactics at the cost of complexity and time.

[This message has been edited by John Maragoudakis (edited 12-27-99).]
