Guest titan Posted December 14, 1999 Share Posted December 14, 1999 Still having trouble loading pbem file at time's especially later in game just get a ding sound. what i do to get the file loaded eventually is copy the file into a number of different location's then try load them all until one works or reboot machine then try I know this is only beta and i have discussed this with steve so no worries or complaining just want to know what others do to get around this,there may be a better way than what im doing Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Knaust Posted December 14, 1999 Share Posted December 14, 1999 I found out that this is the best way to load pbem files: 1. erase all pbem files from your cm directory (dont overwrite them) 2.use the file/save addenda option of Outlook to load the pbem file into the cm directory 3. dont use for that the drag and save option this is till now working in my pbem games Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I loaded a PBEM file and when I had given all my orders to everything I clicked 'Go', but the machine just dinged at me. I had to Ctl-Alt-Del out of CM.
