Brindlewolf Posted April 7, 2012 Share Posted April 7, 2012 Just got round to playing this campaign(taking a break between bouts of CMBN) and quite enjoying it.All good stuff. Problem with scenario-Syrian Gambit-just how the hell are you supposed to get a result in this scenario.You lose a stack of points if your main force is spotted,the idea being you should use infantry only and keep your big stuff back.Fair enough. By the time your infantry spawns on the field,the syrians are already coming over the mid-map ridge with an abundance of BMPs and tanks and it only takes one to spot your main force and you have already lost half the points you could have gained.The best you can get, should that happen, is a draw at best. I lost 2 guys and a marder but totally wiped the syrians out and suffered a minor defeat.I checked out Tyrespawn on his video playing this to see how this could be done and he had the same problem.Not a gamebreaker by any standard but highly annoying.Still an epic campaign though.Like i say quite enjoying it. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Boche Posted April 7, 2012 Share Posted April 7, 2012 Is this the mission where you start only with your recon force and get penalized if the enemy sees your tanks? I completed this mission 0 casualties and 1 lost light vehicle.
