david12345
I'm playing a 1948 games against the computer. Russian subs have been attacked 50 or more times without a single dive by level 1 allied units and air. This can't be bad luck, was it intentional for Russian subs not to dive, or is this a bug? carverrt
Hi David, Don’t know for sure. I have on my list of to-do’s to increase the USSR Sub dive rate. Who is winning =-) Robert
david12345
Thanks, game quite interesting. nice to play a scenario where i have no idea what is going to happen. Things like italy moving capital to sicily and france to casablanca were unexpected and slowing progress. would like to know about the sub thing, however. also noticed it seems like brit and french carriers only have one airstrike?? carverrt
Hi David, I think I fixed the sub issue – I increased the dive rate. Yes, the UK, French and American carries have different values. I took the suggestion of a player to implement somewhat more historical model. The US has the more flexible carriers displaying a large, experienced naval air arm with carriers that hold over 90 planes a piece; while the UK has one strike they have a better air defense reflecting a lower aircraft capacity and steel decks; and the French have a new fleet with an understandable weaker carrier force. I hope these are more realistic. Robert
