Captain Black

Just finished my first run-through of Speed and Power. What can I say, simply blown away by the depth and of gameplay. Just love that you can replay all angles of the battle from any position or unit. Really helps to get a "feel", from so many perspectives on the consequences of every action you take. Having mostly played games like Company of Heroes, CMBS is such a huge leap forward, like a jump from the old Call of Duty games to the Arma series. Cant believe I missed this game, best sim, war-game, game, I have ever played... period.

Will be continuing with the tutorial missions soon but thought I would just pop on the forum and ask a few questions. I do realise reading the manual etc etc are essential, and I am dipping in for the odd glance but was feeling social. I always find that when you ask a direct question ie the topic you often get a more in depth answer and tactics based on player experience

Many thanks Raptor, is this the only way? Wont it also effect what range they are spotting at?

Hi all, how can i get my scouts to hold fire and not engage unless engaged? They keep on giving they're position away as soon as they spot an enemy by firing at it.

Yes, My download was version 1.03 so no need to patch

Does the game have a self patcher? I cant wait to give it a go

will i need to download any patches? Also, any way to speed up download, its very slow compared to my usual speeds

Hi all, do you think black sea will be on sale any time soon? Simply cant afford it at the moment but love the demo. In terms of game-play, UI and Graphics how does it compare to shock force? Cheers
