  1. To my mind, it is the best CM, like every CM i played ;) .

Gameplay is faster than WW2 CM'S but it is realistic (modern conflicts).

Dying is faster ^^, first to see => most of the time first to kill...

    Loadings are optimized.

All factions seems capable to win and inflict big damages if well played...

  2. I would like digital only pre-order too. Deliver is pretty expensive (27 dollar) to Finland, Europe.

Plz, release it soon! I'll buy digital only as soon as it's there... :D

But I'll wait, this game will be beautiful and addictive like his ancestors !!!

  3. Hi,

Speaking of meat grinders, I learned today that the fatalities in the American Civil War far exceeded, US fatalities in World War II--and weren't equaled even summing US fatalities in WW II and WW I! See for yourself here.

Damn, I have never believed that there had been so many losses during the civil war. Thank you for the link and info.

  4. I've found our snipers are good if you let them self-target at their leisure. Then they start dropping heavy weapons crews and officers with ease. If you order them to target they appear to become flustered and start missing.  :D

    Hi MikeyD,

Shall I understand that we must never select a target for sniping efficiency? Do you consider it as a bug or dou you think it is a choice/programming constraint for development team ?

A sniper team isn't a shooting machine, it should engage relatively slowly, but is has to be (more) precise (than classic infantry), undeniably gifted for observation and should select "priced" targets first, don't you think?

ChrisND, can you explain a little about how snipers operate in CMBS it please? Apart from the firing range , what is the difference with a "standard" unit ? Thank you for future answer ;) .

  5. Speed/Adaptation is an important part of infantry tactics. Strykers and other "light" vehicles have a real impact on battlefield.

=> Infantry rapid moves and manoeuvers

=> As Sgt Joch said, their core target is counter and urban reactivity.

=> But also, they are important for troop morale: knowing that having an Abrams at your side is reassuring,  to have a Stryker to quickly being extracted from a conflict zone is probably encouraging soldiers and helps keep calm.

If I may say a metaphor, if we perceived the Abrams as a regular armed force (rather slow but very often ruthlessly efficient), the Stryker could be seen as a guerilla's tool (fast, low fire intensity, but able to quickly move the avenues of approach).

I'm sorry if my english is not perfect, but I'm already working to make myself understood at this time ^_^ . Thank you for your patience :D
