Both were retired, I think. The rest are long-range SAM's that the US intends to employ in an anti-TBM role as well.
-
Dont think so. The others just occur before the battle occurs, and their impact is pre-determined by the mission designer
But as for on-map, I think so yes.

Was a while back.

Full production last year.

This is an interesting and refreshing way to look at things. I've repeatedly read "Arabs are just incompetent" on different forums, which doesnt jive with their early successes like the Suez crossing in 73.
-
The new one, the JASSM-ER does. New as in "produced after 2007-ish" I think.

My favorite S-400 countermeasure in Command: Modern Air Naval Operations
What does the AGM-88E bring to the table over the non-E variant? Is its range extended at all?

Honestly, not seeing the A-10C is weird.

Sorry then, I misinterpreted

I dont think they'd hold much weight in an all-out shooting war. The treaties, that is.

I understand that but i saw this dude on some other resourses and there he was to much russophobic.
Weer, you literally sit in a 1000+ page thread on another forum with fellow "concerned Russians" and bum-rush links posted in that thread with new accounts to poorly argue points. This isnt even a glass-houses scenario, I'm at a loss to draw a more apt comparison.
Literally. This isnt a figurative comment, you do exactly as I described.
BTR is an amazing and amiable resource of knowledge, and totally willing to discuss points. Ikalugin is every bit as friendly, and knowledgeable in the extreme. Your posts, if anyone's, are whats steering discourse in the thread towards an unproductive end.
I'm curious: if NATO really got involved in a war with Russia, wouldn't opportunistic China jump in to steal some Siberia from Russia while it's busy?
Hell, some argue they already have!

Please tell me more about which ethnicities are reliable and which are sure to kowtow to occupiers.
Do certain ones get bonuses to Strength and Constitution scores too at birth?
-
As history shown us ukrainians will cooperate with occupation forces.
I cant believe this is being used as an argument. Good lord.

Those were also AH-64E variants as well, the newest one. They could very reasonably just linger outside the MANPADS range and strike armor with Hellfires.
In fact I THINK they can do that versus the Tunguska as well on paper? Pantsir S1 would remove that advantage though.
Given they are doing CAS though, I assume all aircraft have to be a little bit more cautious with the ROE than just "Hey Ive got a lock, eat an ATGM LOL!" as I often am in DCS, for instance

My concern is that flanking or surprise won't just be about skill and tend to be unnecessarily difficult if your units insist on always announcing their presence by directly lasing the enemy before firing.
Agreed, this is a concern for me as well. Especilally after that MGS situation you mentioned

I assume the new gun is GLATGM compatible as well? Are any new missile designs planned to take advantage of the new gun's allowed dimensions?
-
The biggest problem with Armata is that T-14 just isnt a cool name. You blew your chance for a T-100, Russia. Ya blew it
-
There's no way to tell how an Abrams would perform against a tank that we arent even sure on the physical dimensions of. Just saying "Because its unmatched" is silly.
-
I can confirm from past interactions on different forums that both BTR and ikalugin in particular "know their ****" so to speak
Both very knowledgeable gentlemen

1. What about diference in millitary budgets I mentioned before (3rd place in the word for Russia, 37th place in the world for Ukraine)? Do you really belive that country which spends so little on it's army can stand against the country which spends so much?
Has it happened historically?
-
I for one am disgusted that a nation would make a questionable comment regadring the abilities of one of its tanks
The very nation infuriates me
To my very core, at that.
-
How would they have replenished their stocks, etc since then though?
-
Hell from panzer's description, sounds like something we (the US) would've have made!

You must've missed out on CMSF. The mosque you were under no circumstances to destroy would inevitably be festooned with machine gun and RPG positions. Should you surrender to frustration and level it, you'd lose big-time points.
And the Hospital on the last level of the US Army campaign... all Syrian SF and RPG-29's

I was perhaps overly forward in how I phrased my disagreements with Ikalugun's post. All we can to about the politics is agree to disagree and pray the war remains hypothetical.
As a basis for discussion of tactical and operational possibilities at the level of the game H1nd's layout is superlative. I have already looked at the map of Terny and there are features that you could base hasty defense on. We just need to keep asking ourselves what makes a reasonable scenario and ignore the politics.
I have stated previously that the best assumption for the interesting game is that air-forces/air-defenses more or less neutralize each other. I have no clue what would actually happen, but that is what makes the best CMBS scenarios.
This, or at least saying they're otherwise occupied Or just determine their impact pre-scenario, rather than using them as an excuse to build masturbatory conquest/heroic defense scenarios that are pretty much pre-determined.
Why doesn't the US Air Support roster in CMBS have the A-10 on it?
