  1. Excellent idea. I'm now doing that, and they are shooting and suppressing enemy in the field. Thanks! Unfortunately, I previously used a team of 6 to run into a building to see if enemy was there. There was no enemy, great. By for some reason, all 6 of them then ran out of the building using the far door (maybe they panicked because they heard shooting outside), and all 6 were shot down in turn. Man, that was painful. They were practically pilling up on each other as they fell. Ouch!
  2. I just used some to move into an uncharted forest. They found some enemy, fired, and the enemy ran off!
  3. I am mid battle and have way too many broken units. Unfortunately, a frontal assault failed, and now I have limited units with any real stamina. I am using broken units as scouts (they run right away, but it works), and keeping an eye on my flanks and rear. Can you think of any other uses for them?

  5. This be a stupid question, but how do you use mechanized infantry? I unload the troops, but they don't take the bazooka, etc with them. They don't seem to use the bazooka when on the vehicles. And the driver alone doesn't seem to use any weapon. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance, Fed
  6. I recently found out a wire and low hedge was not passable by making the order to go to the other side of the wire (and later, low hedge) only to see my men running a long way off to get there. I was wondering if there was a way to predict the route a unit will move for a given order. Or do you just have to hope you found the hole in the wire, or the hole is big enough (for armor), etc. I'd like to ask the same about fording rivers. Thanks in advance, Fed

  8. I have a tank that has lost its treads. I was wondering if another tank can push it into a different position. I have not tried it, because this is in a game against a human opponent. Thank you for your help, Fed
  9. Spell check on a mac. I've had much worse. I like the idea of an orator on the field, however.

  12. I have found on 2 occasions that a machine gun crew moves to the prior deployed spot when I try to deploy it in a new location. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

  14. Yes, I was also wondering whether there is a toggle to disable the grid lines. I tried 2 mods, but neither looks like you screenshot. I tried 'Bills Ground-Gridded 15.28.21' and 'Rocket Man-Aris Terrain CMBN Gridde Terrain Mod V101'. Which one are you using for the screenshots?
  15. What about getting that info from the included maps?
  16. Is there a way to view terrain in topographic format? It would really help in positioning troops. If not, is there any interest in getting this done? Thanks, Fed
  17. Relays are available for Combat Mission Touch. I wonder if they will make it for the main game too.
  18. Great example. Thanks for the images also. So I am getting the feeling that the best way to do this is to just move them in place, and then they will fire as long as there is a facing or target command. It seems the pause is not necessary. How about the corner issue. Do you just have to suck it up and move the team into the open for the shot?
