  1. Road to the Sea victory conditions must be flaw, Isnogud captured all obejctive cities last turn but the game did not splash the victory screen for the allies, I said ok once he destroys my two units left it will be the end of the game but no!, he sent me next turn and the game kept on, or so to say I don't have any units nor towns left.

So Bill, Hubert could you please check this out.

Komandant I'll send you the save so can see he met the Decisive Victory conditions.

Actually, if you just continue the turns till time runs out it will get the Decisive Victory.

Race to the sea does not end the moment someone has the victory locations(unlike the other maps) but instead when the time is over.

  2. Thanks for the replies everyone. It is always nice to see that there are people who will give good reasons and arguments, and not go all fanboy rage. I might buy it but now I am confused about one thing.

When going on the 'SC WWII Global GOLD BUNDLE - PREORDER '

    It shows the

    'Price: $70.00(with a line through)

    $45.00

    You Save: $25.00'

But when choosing the purchase options there is only 'Download and mail' as an option(which again says 70 dollars)

So is it 45 or 70 now?

(And if I were to buy it now, will the normal WW 2 Global Conflict still be DLable right now or do I have to wait till gold releases to be able to play either of them? Because half of my reason to buy it is my current boredom)

  3. I am bored and had a lot of fun with SC WWI The Great war 1914-1918 and saw that there is an expansion coming out for SC WW2 Global Conflict. Now, there already was a Europe WW2 campaign in WW 1 The Great war and I never played WW 2 Global Conflict, is it worth paying 45 dollars for it? I mean, I loved WW1 The Great war, but in the end it is probably going to be exactly the same and much of the changes are just what they changed in WW1 The Great War.

Fanboys don't rip me apart, asking a honest question here.

  4. Hi Lukas, we are playing in the same group and are going to play 1918 Kaiserschlacht. I was wondering if you want to do that over network instead of by mail as it would speed things up a bit. I am available for play Sunday, gmt+1.

    Regards Philip

Did you get my PM or not?(I have not gotten a PM back yet and did not see any other reply or anything on this topic(though I only skimmed it I admit))

(And for all others, I would much rather do a network game each weekend instead of this whole email thing.. that is just going to turn into a huge mess and is not really practical.(nor needed if you have network games) Even with time differences it should be possible to find time on a weekend)

In fact, anyone who has to play against me (Lukas Stoll) can send me an PM and we can arrange a time to play(even right now I would have time)
