I know this is an old thread but I stumbled across it while trying to track down some info on lend-lease Sherman's. I found BigDuke6's summary of the article Sodball provided to be very interesting and would love to see the actual report as the link provided no longer seems to exist. That brief bit about the Harley's was really interesting and got me curious to see if I could find a picture of one with the mortar setup.
