I'm not gonna badger you about it. It's hard to convey irony and tone on the internet if you're not super obvious :/

It wasn't a perfect match, but "subtle" wouldn't be close enough to pun on Sublime's forum name

And yes, that was a joke, though maybe I was a little to subliminal? ;)

Oh you silly Americans, you and your irrational love for bowling

Loaded it up and previewed it, a gorgeous map indeed!

Out of curiousity/ignorance, why where explosive/expansive bullets prohibited in international conflict?
I mean, you can't really blame armies for trying to kill each other more effectively, that kind of is what armies do, trying killing enemy soldiers that is. And I know that the Swedish Police force uses hollow points so bullets to minimize how much bullets they have to fire and to minimize bullets going entirely through and striking innocent bystanders, and that is... totally legal right?

The german army was issued tons of methamphetamine, which actually explains a lot. I think the allies also dabbled a little with "morale-pills", but not on the scale as in germany. By the way, international law is a joke, napalm is legal, so really, a joke.

@Vinnart: that looks really good!!
@Sgt Schultz: might that volcano be a "Red mountain"? ;)

Breathtaking is the right word, absolutely gorgeous looking maps!

24, I started with CMAK, but I can't for my life remember how I was introduced to it, I guess my age is starting to get to my memory....

Not sure I understand the problem, but let me ask: you do know that in the setup phase that you can place troops outside of any vehicles they might be in?
Michael
Haha yeah I know that, and it isn't a problem as much as it was a question of tactics and maybe what the r/l usage of ht mounted infantry It felt bad to dismount from start and leave so much stuff behind!
-
I would love to have a specific cmx2 tactics forum. It feels like to start a new thread in the main forum everytime you need help or is curious is a little unneccesary. And it would be great to see all tactics threads in one place so you could read up a little on it.
Would love to hear what you're supposed to do when you start a scenario and find half of your infantry in HT. Should I screen with the troops on foot and reinforce with my mounted infantry when I've located where the enemy is the strongest?
-
Threw together a quick scen to test this, at least all german units can cross trenches, with tracked vehicles doing it faster than wheeled ones.
Edit: AAARGH Ninja'ed, damn you Pete!

Merry christmas and a happy new year/ God jul och gott nytt år

Maybe not really a "screenshot" as I kinda got too enthusiastic with PS

I think Lynx is date-sensitive. You won't find it in June... I think. If you look in July you should find a 'recon tank company' under armor. I can't say 100% sure because I have something other than v1.11 installed on my machine currently.
You're such a tease!

Interesting, which battles?(Don't know anything about wwi but the big picture).
