Thanks Rokko, it is good to see someone making a campaign again. For some reason it stopped a long time ago.

That's pretty cool, thanks!

Why don't you oldtimers just admit it, you love these threads! They always get the most posts and responses. You guys (always the same ones) just can't ignore it. You're to easy to get riled up.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Jeezus - what a dickhead.
Geez, it's just a game guys. You would think I insulted your mother or something.

Sorry, but fanboy is the only adjective I can think of for some of the regular posters. If the game had the sun rising in the west, there would be some posters saying how it is "realistic" and could happen on the battlefield.
-
Seedorf, look how the boss, Steve, posts. Can you expect the fanboys to be any different? This forum has a reputation for this nonsense. You have to learn to accept these morons. They come with the turf.

I agree %100! But can't you say it without the awful sarcasm?

IMHO, Commander is nice, but bland and generic. SC wins on all fronts!

Awesome! That looks like alot of fun.

Thank you Aris!

I think it is resetting after the turn. If I get the FFE with 30 seconds or more left in the turn, (enough for the Roger call) I get the arty falling, but if it passes to the next turn without the roger it starts over again.
You may be right. I never do get the FFE after this, and usually end up canceling and restarting the request. Of course, any plan I had is shot to hell.

Is anybody else experiencing this? With a regular spotter and regular 81mm mortar (off map) I get the spotter saying fire for effect with 5 seconds left in the turn. Next turn, instead of firing for effect the mortars go back to spotting rounds. This gets repeated over and over again. With a veteran spotter this is usually avoided.
Yes, I've seen this many times.

I love your campaigns Field Marshal Blucher! Thank you for making them.

Small is best for me also. I would like more smaller campaigns.

To digress...
After I first installed CMFI, I (of course) ran the program immediately, or at least attempted to. This didn't work because my trusty Norton anti viral system had taken it upon itself to decide that the CMFI exe file was a serious viral threat and in consequence quarantined it. After I had sorted that little problem out I had no more trouble.
Has anyone else had the same thing happen to them?
SLR
Exactly the same.

I am loving the terrain in southern Italy! You can "delete" saved games from the load menu!!!! To me, that is huge. Many other things also.
-
Will be potentially problematic if I need to reinstall my system. 10 base games, modules and several patches/updates forces me to install whopping 50(?) installations. Sounds Expensive. This wont be problem in near future but seems like I eventually need an effective IT policy to manage my CM intallations. I am also little bit concerned that the current licensing system won't be suitable. I most certainly would not like to realize that I cannot install n:th module only because I have messed with licencess.
I agree, licensing is going to be a mess! I recently had a computer die on me, and the only trouble I had was with battlefronts lousy licensing. I cringe at the thought of losing my computer a year from now, what a nightmare it will be.

I'm not saying I'm against the idea but, just how much money are these upgrades going to cost?
It's all good! Thank you guys.

Very nice! Thanks guys.

Ok, thank you Moon. The wording of the warning gave me the wrong impression. This is the first time I've had to get a reset, but there were other battlefront games on my dead computer, and they are now installed on this one. I hope I get a few years out of this new one, but who knows, a year from now I might need a whole slew of resets!
I may not like your licensing, but I got good support from you guys. Thanks.

First, I want to say thank you for resetting the key. But I get this warning from the help desk:
Please note that we can only reset your key a limited number of times. Once the limit is reached, you may not be able to relicense your key anymore. On the other hand, there is no limit as to how often you can UNLICENSE a key from your end. Unlicensing takes one second (literally! It's just one click) and "frees up" your key from your current PC, so you can use it elsewhere. You can unlicense and relicense an unlimited number of times. Please do not forget to unlicense in the future in order to preserve your license key.
Now, I understand the policy, but I would like to know how I can unlicense when I can't even turn the old computer on? I do not get my old computers repaired, I just buy a new one. I can see this happening again, and it is all because of battlefronts anti customer DRM! This is not a tantrum, just stating things. The only reason I put up with this crap is that you have good games, but I have my limits also. Your own records prove I bought the game.
P.s.- getting "gold" reinstalled was also another ball busting experience, but I got it.God, I hope this computer lasts, it seems I only rent games from battlefront.
Battlefront Campaign pack

Has Battlefront ever considered making a campaign pack to sell? For me, the campaigns are the most fun, and I would gladly pay for extra campaigns. Just wondering.
Thanks
