  1. i dont like activation keys. looking from my personal angle, i had to install new 64 bit system and change graphic card. i did it all in one shot to avoid losing 2 keys. but what if i was unable to do it in 1 shot, i 'd be left with one key now.and tomorrow i might add more ram or simply due to mechanical failure or something similar remove any parts of the pc and put them back, i will have 0 keys. even if you give me 8 keys its not the point. i want to have my copy of the game for the eternity and do what i want with it.

CM games not very expensive, but they are expensive, specialy if you want to have all of them

these keys are limiting me in so many ways, because i value BF games and dont wana lose them, but in same time i dont have 200 dollars to give again in such a short period after i lose the keys due to these legit situations writen beyond. its matter of weeks or months untill i lose 1 more key and i ll have 5 or more months untill i can send a request for 1 more which i can lose in matter of days/weeks/years

i know if you dont have keys people would just buy 1 game and distribute it like crazy but this is not the solution.its worse than most hardcore anti pirate systems in the world. at least there you have your game for real, this is like renting keys/time

i know this has little to no impact on your views/policies, this single thread but please consider changing this

Great game but the worst activation system in the business. IMHO

  2. I too hope big maps doesn't mean a shed load of units..as even at WEGO it becomes way to much to take in and deal with (even bordering on those dreaded words "a click fest"), plus as mentioned in a Campaign you want to get attached to your troops.

I do hope we get to see some smaller campaigns unit load wise. Oh and I hate timed scenarios in any game..though so far I've never run out of time in a CMx2 scenario.

+1 for me, there are too many units. I like it at a co. level or lower.

  3. I LOVE the games, I Love the customer support, but I HATE this licensing. My joy at a new release is always tempered by dread at BFs' lousy system, and God help me if my computer takes a dump and I have to reinstall base games, add ons etc. I get a headache just thinking about it. I have yet to hear a customer say it is a good system.

I still buy, but Damn, there has got to be a better way.

    Thanks

  4. Maybe.... I think it's the translation thing. I could be wrong. Of course Germany as a nation was lampooned for having no sense of humor on South Park. So perhaps I'm not the only one who thinks that way.

The pic of Hitler with the kid made me wonder - anyone know what happened to the Hitler Youth kids getting Iron Crosses in late April 45? The famed last pic of Hitler, patting the kids cheek as he gives out medals outside the Fuhrerbunker? Whatever happened to them were they all killed, does anyone know?

The kid who gets his cheek pinched in that famous clip, survived. I saw him on a documentary, made around 2000,telling his story. Sorry, I can't recall what show it was.

  5. I'm not sure what you mean here. CMBN came with four campaigns (two of them basically training), and The Commonwealth Module added a couple more. But I have a dozen extra campaigns in my game folder, all of them available at the Repository.

As far as I can tell, there are four campaigns (all good) in the repository:Devils Descent, Outlaws, A bloody Ride and Die letzte Hoffnung. All of these came out soon after release and I haven't seen a new one yet, commonwealth or Italy. I'm not trying to demand anything, I'm just wondering why it stopped. Or am I missing something?

  6. The OP isn't saying that he wants something for free. He is merely saying that he is willing to pay for someone to make some good campaign content. Not everyone has the time or the talent to create good content. Campaigns in particular require more time and effort to make them enjoyable.

The EULA prohibits anyone from selling the content that they create with the BF tools. If BF would license some of the better scenario/Campaign designers and be willing to produce their completed content, I think players would defiantly buy a scenario/campaign pack if it were priced right.

Of course the biggest issue with doing something like this would be copyrighting and preventing thieves from stealing content that they didn't pay for ...

Thanks Rocky, that is exactly what I'm saying.
