Is Game Worth my while?

Hello - in Pacific Theatre and Operation Z I noticed that the computer's turn was taking quite a while to complete, especially as the years go by - in SC Weapons & Warfare this was never a problem. Any suggestions to help overcome this? This is my first time on the forum so I hope I am doing this correctly
