i do also find the red thunde module runs and loads far better than the other's especially italy, italy on my system is the worst, normandy is really good , but would say red thunder has the edge on normandy for loading.

i think the prices are fair to be fair, is me favourite game, and they just keep going nuts on releasing new stuff and further updates, wih most games you'd be lucky to get that..got nabbed on custom charge over in uk, which i was not happy about completely random pick of the litter just for a game, doh !

has anyone read books on the penetration values of russian late war weapons? the t34/85 within 1000 m could easily be deadly to most german tanks, it was to be fair a very good weapon and is why amongst alot of other values at that point it was a tipping point added to many.. Don't winge and moan about the german tanks are weaker etc....russian's had alot more heavy tanks and assault guns that were much better matched than there allied counterparts...

very impressed with Red Thunder battlefront !
never been able to play such massive large scale offensives, what ever your doing in the new engine certainly works for me, same with the last patch for normandy, that also was a great improvement.
however, think italy needs it as i still struggle to play hot mustard scenario, which by other experiences of scenarios i believe it may be down to some terrain item or something..
each leap n bound the games get smoother, keep it up, and hopefully some improvements can come to the previous modules in the same way red thunder has advanced

this was a old mission from CMBB day's, one of me favourite if played as a rolling retreat on the germans side,
just wanted to pop this out there if there's any mission makers without ideas,
did love to see the remake of chance encounter, :-)

there was a post about this problem a while back, anyone recall how to fix it,
re installed game and patched to 2.01 and found the marder crews have to arms straight out lol

Hello, BF.
well after walking away for several weeks i tried re installing the game, to see if it fixed my dilemma, well it did.
i have worked it from working up through every patch that it's after 2.0 with 2.1, that the schurzen seems to disappear when i get close to the vehicles, mainly just the HQ unit.
i have a happy medium with 2.0 but i do prefer to run the latest edition.
i still await a response from me help ticket, but i understand there must be lots to shift through.
any how, i thought his would help. :cool:

if you got the old huge manual with CMBO, alot of the modders,

have been in it from the start. doubt they will disappear , probably just busy with real life as we all are from time to time.

Does anyone know if some of the HD terrain for normandy is compatible to Italy?
just looking through the repository at aris mods, for italy and sure i recognize some of the terrain in the pics as the HD stuff

using mods for 2.1 for uniforms, does it replace existing or add to the list of those you can choose via the editor ???

I have seen them both go at it, but that was under 1.11, haven't really noticed any issue with that in 2.01

to me its the most enjoyable coolest looking ww2 experience, just wish they would polish off the small issues for which is just trying to make it run smoother and not burn out your memory quicker than coffee in my system lol....but i do have faith. :-p

this should be made into a seperate thread, only for system specs! and rated performance and or settings !
one question is on me mind is what does combat mission take full advantage of? duel core? quad core? duel graphics / single graphics,???

Understood. I think what's baffling to people is the strain seems to hit different systems so differently, and the hardware power that might easily handle other demanding games doesn't necessarily make CMx2 run a lot faster or smoother.
I'm probably not alone in considering my next PC will be configured with CMx2 and CMx3 in mind. So what we need most of all are some more specific guidelines about what specs are proven to really make the most difference to this game's performance.
that's the smartest and straight forwardest thing put down on here lol... No negative pun intended to others.:cool:

that's somewhat disheartening as i'm after a powerfull system just for this game..lol
curious do you get any OEM Error? out of memory errors? i would doubt it..
tho the performance may be linked to that as its been mentioned of some sort of memory leak may be occuring.
