Hey, I'm all for less intrusion in gaming. We have enough of that in government! I like the Battlefront eLicense system!

Thanks Hubert for the consideration. Panzer General II was doing this game conclusion scoring and graphics back in the lated 90's!

The Battlefront system beats the heck out of the old copy protection systems (what's the first letter on page 2, etc)!
Wonder if it's the different versions of Windows?

Are you sure you want to cap at 200%? Maybe you should just think about the number of turns being the cap?

Yes, you have to play Pacific Theater! All of the major Marine Corps landings are included. The Japs will fight you to the end!
I like to Mod the campaigns and beat up the Marines for a switch!

I like the DoW Vichy idea as well. Except, take Spain and Portugal! That ticks them all off!
Then, the soft under belly of the USSR!

Started with SC1 and have worked my way through Global Conflict! I still play some of the legends such as Panzer General II and Pacific General.
I've been gaming since 1986 and my home office is full of old wargames dating back to the DOS days!
However, Battlefront has my business forever!

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I have been enjoying the various reports available from the menu bar. But, like you, more glitz and glitter is way cool. However, it should be me taking the crown as Emperor of the world! Ha

I have played all of the SC2 games and I am particularly enjoying Global Conflict!
I have a suggestion. When a campaign is completed the "Allied Major Victory" note is just not very satisfying. Could you incorporate some form of promotion or medal system when a game is completed. The old game of Panzer General II had a campaign completion screen with medals, points, victories and casualty reports.
This would be really satisfying for those of us who play against the AI!

While I am enjoying this new game, it is basically a graphical update of the old "Empire and Empire Deluxe"game.
The movement interface takes some time to get used to. The AI can be improved!

Has there been any thought to developing a promotion system? A system that grants rank promotions upon completion of scenarios or campaigns?
Also, when a game is complete, some type of promotion announcement or some other form of graphical recognition other than"allies win major victory"?
This is important for those of us who play against the AI!

Now that CMOD has shut down, are there any sites that have SC2 scenario downloads?

Well, you know what I mean. These games are great but it just seems that when you compete so hard that some form of reward would be nice..other than "Axis Major Victory".
I think other players may feel the same way.

I hope you have incorporated some form of graphical or some other type of recognition when a campaign is complete. A promotion system or some other form of recognition would be nice.
The "Allied Major Victory" is boring!

Italy and France were majors in name only. I simply think we should eliminate the verbage "minor and major" and call them nations!
