  4. US Divisional Patches Italian Campaign Mod Part I_mjk Part I has US Divisions 1, 3, 9, 10th Mountain, 34, 35, and 45Part II has US Divisions 85, 88, 91,and 92, and the 100th/442nd Regiment and the 509th PIB This had to be done in two parts because the original single file was too big. This is the same Italian Campaign Uniform Mod available at GreenasJade’s CMMODS website, just in two parts. This mod has all the US Infantry divisions that fought in Italy, and includes the 1st Armored Division, the 509th Parachute Infantry Battalion, and the 100th Battalion/442nd Regiment of Nisei Americans. I didn’t include the 82nd Airborne, since Vein has taken care of that mod. The infantry uniforms are the brownish-based OD Dark and have the unit shoulder patches added. Each division mod also has a variety of helmets and leggings. If you have my other uniform mod, you’ll already have some of these divisions. After downloading and unzipping the zip file called “Italian Campaign Uniforms_Part I (or Part II—whichever) mjk” to the desktop or wherever you store your unused mods, you will have a .brz file named either “Italian Campaign Patches Part I_(or Part II) mjk”. You’ll have to “explode” that .brz file using the mod tools’ “RezExplode” program. Once you explode it, you’ll find a folder with .brz files for the divisions/units inside. Each unit .brz is a self-contained mod, so all you have to do ... More...

  6. D-Day, 6th June 1944. Small US parachute force has taken small village of Gourbesville. German infantry company is sent to take village back. 9. A large (800m x 1000m) map with pastoral areas to the south that transition, as you cross a river, into suburband areas and then to a heavily built up central town area in the north-central. And as you might have guessed, there is no bocage. It should be suitable for a large number of campaign, scenario, and not-so-quick battle purposes. This is a highly detailed map; it runs fine on my machine, but I have an extremely fast machine. Your mileage may vary. Enjoy! More...

  11. Dedicated to all my American Friends for this Fourth of July 2011! It's a collection of Tunes: The Star Spangled Banner - The Army Goes Rolling Along - The Thunderer. It has been made on a Mac and saved as a Wave file not compressed: on the Mac it works, and hopefully will do with Windows too! Else you may try a re-conversion.Enjoy it! More...

  13. The complete version 2.0 mod containing all the units’ uniforms/patches was just too big to upload in the BFC Repository at one time…confirmed after 3 frustrating attempts to do so. [but it is up at GreenasJade’s CMMODS website in one complete download.] So I broke it down into parts: Part I_Armor (plus Helmets and Plain Dark Uniforms mods); Part II_Infantry-Regular Uniform (using the game’s stock uniforms); and Part III_Infantry-Dark Uniform. The Helmet mod has no unit insignias but a variety of colors/netting/no netting. The Dark Uniform mod has no unit shoulder patches. This 3-part mod is an update to version 1.1 of my US Divisional Patches Mod. It fixes someerrors and adds a second set of uniforms with divisional patches—with darker brown colors for the infantry OD uniform--to the regular greenish ones that came with the game. It includes division/unit patches for all US infantry divisions and armored divisions in the Normandy campaign June - August ‘44, and a few other units. More...

  16. I've zipped the three scenarios I did for the Task Force Thunder campaign. They are:The Screen Part 1 and 2Ambush AlleyInto The ValleyI should stress they were balanced for playing within the campaign (where it was expected Blue would lose units) hence they may be very unbalnced for H2H play or against the AI. Also please note there are only AI Plans for RED. More...
  17. Background This CMBN scenario, ‘Firebrigade’, recreates a fictional large scale armoured meeting engagement (about a reduced battalion on each side i,e, several companies) on the Eastern Front in late July 1944. In this scenario US forces represent a Soviet armoured forward detachment that has been pushed through a breach in the German front line (HKL). Scenario Design StuffIn reality Soviet infantry would ride the tanks rather than be carried forward in half tracks. At the moment in CMBN infantry are unable to mount up and ride on armour (as in reality in the early stages of Normandy, which the game truly represents this behaviour was not common when in contact or expected to be in contact with the enemy) hence the half tracks. In this action the ‘Soviets’ i.e. the US, are equipped with Shermans rather than T34s. In reality by this stage in the war several Soviet armoured units were actually equipped with Lend Lease Shermans, so in this respect it’s still within the bounds of possibility for a ‘Soviet armoured force equipped with Shermans to be fighting a German force.Map Size: 3232m x 3360mUnit Size: Approx several tank companies each side plus several companies of half track borne infantry (all reduced numbers due to combat losses etc).Scenario Loading time: As it’s a large map it’ll take around 5 to 10 minutes to load. Be patient! Play as: Best played as H2H; There are two AI Plans for either side so you can play Red Vs Bl... More...

  19. Soviet forces are entrenched at defensive positions around Hill 412. The Mujahedeen started an offensive to capture this Hill and chase away the Soviets. You are to command the 2nd Airborne Battalion of the Red Army and prevent the Mujahedeen in achieving thier objectives. More...
  20. This mod for CMBN reduces the size of the ground terrain to significantly reduce the texture shimmer along the ground. Some textures have also been slightly desaturated. Version 1.5 darkens and increases the size of some textures for better contrast and clarity. More...
