I figure I'll add my bit.
I'm running:
Vista 32 bit SP1
Core 2 E6420 @2.13Ghz
4GB Ram
EVGA 8800GTS 320MB w/ NVIDIA 182.50 WHQL drivers
I get the sporratic crashes with saves, I don't notice anything that could cause it to crash during a save i.e., background apps or something like that.
Also in particular, further into a mission I'll get alot of lag and very low framerates down below the teens and on two occasions the game locked up in the middle of a mission; however, I could still move the mouse but nothing else responded in the game. I have my graphics set to auto-detect and running 1680x1050 resolution.
Hopefully this helps and hopefully y'all can get a patch out cause Its been a while since I played a good RTS like this that is taylored for us history folk:D.
