Did they replace the entrails with a tea-pot?
No but the Churchill cutaway had a cup of tea sectioned!
-
Like this?
I used to have the UK version of that book! Im 11 again!

You mean Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory?
These are probably the best German voices in any game.
Ever.
Nah it these ones we want!!

I tried to flank on the right with my inf. However the guys wouldnt jump the hedgerow of the square field but ran round to the gate and got shot to **** by the MG's in the village. Can you make them jump the hedge or is it impassible?

My flatmate and i are playing a PBEM except running through to each others rooms ith a flash drive. The sod took out one of my armoured cars with a 57 and the shot blew out the back and shot gunned about 6 guys running behind with shrapnel. Well unimpressed!
love this game however!

Will units such as the Rangers make an appearance in the 3rd module?
With Shock Force (SF) Battlefront pointed out that Special Forces (SF... oh wait, never mind) were not in the scope of the game, however commandos and rangers where not that far removed from normal small unit tactics that they could easily opperate within BN. Im not asking for cliff climbing animations for point du hoc but the ability for some historical and fictional "raiding" and so forth would be damn interesting.
-
I think my dad once signed for an Aircraft Carrier but as its one of the small British ones its not as impressive.
(He was MEO not Captain so not 100% sure)
-
I think the TacAI should handle it. Just because we are omnipotent gods who know exactly what to do the poor gunners and loaders in reality are not.
-
Can you add them to units? Say a unit of german trucks that are full of nazi gold that the germans want to protect and the allies want to stop? On a big map where you have to reach an exit point? I think im on a winner here. Now if only i was a good scenario designer...

Awesome. And the demo?
(FIRST!)
*edit* crap wasnt first

I’m not breaking any SecOps here, as its got a big red and white sign “TA Centre’ pointing at it and it’s address freely given on the internet, so 204 Bty Drill Hall is currently located at Kingston Park, a trading estate in the north of Newcastle. Google 204 bty – loads of info available
Not only do they have the gall to allow a pipe band to squawk on interminably, they also wear that brown hat with the red hackle (looks like a red budgie has kamikazed into a pork pie) and the SNCO’s and Ruperts used to wear Tartan Trews as Barracks Dress, disgraceful behaviour for English Sergeants of Artillery! (although understandable for h’officers.)
Ahh yes thats a bit silly on my part. One of my best friends from uni at the minute is a Blyth lass. I suffer the Anti Tartan-Kilt-bagpipes-anything scottish slant on a regular basis, not that i should talk as my parents are from the 'Boro!!

Bagpipes? good god NO!
As a Northen Englishman who has often to listen to that noise pollution that some call 'stirring music' I must cast my vote in for the Nay! party.
Before you colonials step up to the plate to defend the cat stranglers, please note that I often have to put up with these 'objects' in the main street of my home town (often drowning out the sweet notes of the Northumbrian smallpipes), and to really add insult to injury, one of the batteries of the Territorial Army Arty Regt. I was a member for for 20 years was '204 bty - The Tyneside Scottish'.
And yes, they had a flaming pipe band.
So no thanks.
Where abouts in Tyneside?

Is it perhaps time to start a CM BN tactics forum with stickies to show things like this. (using SF pics for now) so all the golden oldies dont have to ask a million times.

Little quibble with the little M1 carbine
in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
Posted
Mmmmm M1 Carbine....
BTW do you pronounce Carbine;
Car-byne as in Tyne (IE the river)
or
Car-bean as in baked bean (Ie the foodstuff)
