I am ridiculous and I'm going to bed very very sleepy.
-
So, as 'very very very soon' gets closer, does it become 'very very soon' or 'very very very very soon'?

I like cake.
Mmmmmmmmmmm... Demo cake.

I've been naked since this thread was posted.
At first, my co-workers were a little bit put off, but they seem to be adjusting.

Indeed.
Three cheers for BFC and a job that will very very very soonly be well done.
-
Which one? 1981 or 2010?
-
Actually, it was released yesterday, but they posted the announcement in the PT Boats forum by mistake.

Since the testers of beta are here posting and the demo is not out yet, I'm guessing a new build is being compiled for testification tomorrow.
Then again, I'm the kind of person who assumes the worst. That way, if things go well, I am pleasantly surprised, and if they go poorly I'm already mentally prepared.

It will take 7 to download.
-
Does that mean it will be released this evening!?
Only if we make it to 100 000 views by Midnight.

Should've tried the full frontal assault Gnorffy.
I'm Canadian, so she would totally expect that.

Last time I tried to go 'up the flank' with my girlfriend, she slapped me and made me sleep on the couch.

What's a 'Jared Leto'?

Very-cubed is actually 9 times LONGER than regular soon. So, that suggests sometime in 2014
Luckily I have minesweeper to keep my occupied.

I have seen 'Soon' mean 6 months, so I'm not holding my breath.
Well, not holding it really tightly at least.

The front oage had changed when I just logged in, and my naughty bits got a little bit rigid for a second, until I saw the 'WWI' bit.

I believe that any novel taking place during the Normandy campaign would be historical fiction by definition.
A great biography to read from the period is 'The Guns of Normandy', by George Blackburn. If you've already read it, read it again.
I'm prolly going to read it once a month until they release the Commonwealth module.

Will there be parachuting dogs?

Also, as someone in the thread also points out: we do not make customs laws. Your country does. We have to comply with US export laws (which prevent us from stating a lower value for customs purposes than what you paid)...
The value of the physical shipment is the price of the physical shipment minus the cost of the download-only option. As long as the package the client bought includes the download option, the literal value of the phsyical copy is no more than materials.
I've had a number of differenrt companies ship me things across the US-Canada border like this.

Steve said "which was set 3 weeks ago and we still think we'll hit" ... that's up to May 11th. Over and out.
That means that 3 weeks ago they set a target date, not that the target date was three weeks from then. They could have set December 15,2017, but they set it three weeks ago.

Pong.
It was a WWI trench combat simulator in the 1970s.

June 6th.
Earlier than that would be nice, but it seems to be what the post implies. That gives another two weeks for testing before the gold has to go for production.
It';s also the anniversary of something, although I can't quite put my finger on what...

...for all their years of sweat, toil and countless beers/coffee and hard work.
Sweat
Toil
Countless Beers/Coffee
Hard Work
One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?

Bopth of those dates are consistent with when I will be on the road, so I am guessing that they are right.
WeGo - Correcting artillery fire before starting action
in Combat Mission Battle for Normandy
Posted
I'm curious if this is intentional:
I'm playing WeGo, and I ask my tubes to drop some rounds on a target. Before pressing the start button to begin the action phase, I change my mind and want to alter the target. However, when I cancel the initial strike, I am unable to target anything else because I am busy cancelling the last target. Except, since it's WeGo, I haven't actually called for the initial target in the first place, but get penalized for a minute none the less.
I'm guessing it's a core game mechanic for RTS that can't be changed, but I'm hoping it's a design decision instead so I can try to change your minds.
