Dooh fog not working for me also..

I went from XP to Windows 7 so I dont know about the Vista issues. I have tried a few turns in a mega huge operation and it runs fine, no issues at all.

I have a Geforce GTX 260 DirectX10.

I tried installing CMAK on Windows 7 and it seems to work just fine

Thanks for your offer and we are currently playing a CMBB ME right now with me as the ruskie (dirtonex). This time I am looking for a large operation. Last year I played Wacht Am Rhein and Blut Und Ehre unfortunately my opponent suffered a stroke. The "play as the lay" rules can be flexible. However setup´s should be done in a realistic way. And I agree about the reinforcements but they are of course ok to line up as a column on a road for example.

I am looking for an opponent to play operations by PBEM. I prefer western front and in particular battle of Bulge. You should have experience playing operations and open to follow "play as they lay" rules. I will be able to send one file every day and some days more than that depending on opponent.

I also got his daughters mail. We used to played operations and he was a good player always returning pbem files. I miss him and I will always remember the exciting battles we played. Best wishes to you, Jan

No I have not found any opponents yet. So if you dare to try to finish 19x25+ turns you are welcome. See rules below: "This operation is enormous and probably tedious and thus intended only for those players with good systems and the stomach to manage hundreds of units on a massive map. It is intended only as a 2 player game with special rules. Rule#1: All German reinforcements (except mines and barricades) must be placed south and east of the river line of the Ambleve at Stavelot to the Salm at Trois Ponts. German reinforcements cannot be placed beyond this area throughout the game. Rule#2: Units already on the map can be placed anywhere though they must be at least 400m from the north, south, and west map edges and they cannot be placed across a river unless a viable bridge is available. Thus, if desired, the German player can avoid having to plot way points for every unit by concentrating on advancing a spearhead. Follow up units can advance during the placement phases of following battles. Rule#3: Recommended Weather. Recycle the game as necessary to achieve the following weather: The first battle should be foggy. The second battle should be foggy, overcast, or clear. The third battle should be clear. The fifth battle should be foggy again. There should be no snow or rain until after the fifth battle. Rule#4: Both players should be wary of placing units too close to enemy units during set up. Rule#5: No tanks can cross bridges that say �no tanks!� SP vehicles can cross."
