the main thing i dont like about the game is that it doesnt have a dynamic campaign in which if u win the battles it matters in the next mission i like to no if i have done the right tactics and defeated my foe that i would be rewarded by moving the front there all like individal battles i dont like that

pickled14 i had the same prob as u i think once i installed the patch on the english version kalypso i tried to play and as you said it said please put in original cd. butinstead of that all i did was click on my short cut and it work (still with cd in drive tho) dont no if thats any help

sorry guys but i think i have wasted me money i have played it mind u only a couple of weeks and i am bored it needs dynamic for me i like to play and if i win i move the front and if i lose they move the front.its good fun playing the campaign but its the same time and time again. A VERY GOOD GAME BUT FOR ME ITS MISSING ALOT sorry im going to put this on the shelf and see wat happens in the future with it

guys got a question i am very new to this and i am learning the ropes and i have started a campaign (french). and as you can imagine i am not doing to well. but the question i ask is this does it make a difference win or lose a certain battle.apart from the ovious that your troops get points for experance. wat else do u get you dont push the germans back or anything like that do u? you go on to the next mission with more stuff and thats it well as far as i can see any way also how do u win take this one i think its called coveringfire there is so many german tanks and infantry coming at u u have no chance. if thats the case then wat is the point of this game if it just follows history hope i am wrong but if nothing altas any out comes then i might be abit gutted this is not me moaning cause i am losing i just wont to no if i start winning will it make a difference

do buildings get damaged by bombs etc

guys just a question is this game same sort of thing as comany of heroes or are they completely different

the patch is out now for other versions (kalypso) so will this mod work now ? please say yes

not so lucky my game has arrived AND I AM NOT HAPPY i emailed the game store where i brought the game and asked them if the version was 1c battlefront version and not the KALYPSO version they told me it was and low and behold wat turn up was the bloody kalypso version but on there web site it shows battlefront http://www.game.co.uk/PC/~r332377/Theatre-of-War/ on that web page that shows battlefront and not kalypso so that begs the question can i only purchuse the game from here or are your versions in other stores

well i have now cancelled my order and now on the way is the 1c and battlefront version so i am now happy

guys i have emailed kalypso about how plp are unhappy with there version of this game (patch)etc etc this is wat i posted hello everyone at kalypso i am writing this as i have just ordered theatre of war as it looks like a really good game. i have ordered it from play .com BUT im starting to wonder if i have made the right decision as i have been to battlefront.com forums and read alot of bad stuff about you and lack of coop opperation i think u no where i am going with this. THE PATCH WHERE IS IT the plp in that forum are saying u not doing one while battle front have already done it and so have other publishers so i would very much like to no when and if u are doing the patch that every one is asking for. DONT FORGET THAT THE WORD TRAVELS FAST ROUND THE INTER NET but the word at the moment doesnt sound good about you guys with this community please could u give me some info when and if there is a patch otherwise i will cancel my order and get it from BATTLE FRONT .COM KIND REGARDS barry the reply was this Hello, the patch for the english Kalypso retail version willbe published within the next week. hello everybody right as the post states i have just ordered tow and was wondering when it turns up wat are the first things i should do to get the game upto date and wat addons will i need etc i must say i am really looking forward to playing this the only other game i have played like this (i think ) is coh (company of heroes) are they simular or not?
