  1. Reporting back... 1. Uninstalled .NET 2. Reinstalled .NET and updated 3. Reinstalled ToW 4. Result = Most it did was change screen res 5. Reinstalled Uber Patch 6. Result = Runtime error (trap 3) 7. Lost faith
  2. I get the Runtime error on launch, dont even get into the game.
  3. Doubt it Robbo, Im still waiting for an answer to my problem from someone at BF. Thanks Lethaface, Ill have a look round, my quicktime is up-to-date but still not working.
  4. Don't get your hopes up, Battlefront don't seem to be providing answers to any questions, Im still waiting anyway for some kind of acknowlegement for my runtime error 3 (trap) problem.
  5. Now just tried after installing the Uber patch and guess what I got... runtime error #3 (trap) contact your vendor useless! [ January 31, 2008, 03:15 PM: Message edited by: reedi7 ]
  6. Cheers Azi, just tried that, and nope, it's still not happy.
  7. That's as in it wont start for me, even though Ive read through other posts of people having same problem, Ive tried the suggested solutions but the Theatre remains closed. My original install worked fine, downloaded from BF and also have CD (1C Company). Applied Uber patch and all I got was an error message saying: error #3 (trap) contact your vendor So since then Ive uninstalled it all and reinstalled the download version, and now the most I get is the config screen, hit start and nothing happens. (I havent installed the Uber patch again yet). Ive tried removing the intro movie and the extension limit in my Nvidia control panel is Off anyway, still no joy. Specs are...8800GTX with latest drivers, XP, 2Gb memory. Any ideas? Thanks
  8. Im getting the same error message, is it worth me uninstalling it all and starting again?, I have BF download and DVD version. thx
