You are right sirs! I tried in in another game and it works, but it did not work in the initial training mission - maybe because the targets we dummies. Thanks again for the quick responses.

To increase the fun factor, I would like to be able to lock-on enemy units and be able to pivot around to get an idea of their LOS and to watch them during replays.

I am currently playing Advanced Tactics by e-mail, so wouldn't mind some CMBB action as well. Never played PBEM before, and may need some help in setting up. Since I have not played the game for some time, I would like to choose a scenario that I played before, so I will have some idea of what to do in order to avoid a decisive loss. Let me know, and if you live near the US central time zone, I would be able to play a couple of turns or more most days.

I tried your fix again and may have pasted incorrectly before. The text is now clear, although it appears in different colors. Thanks again for your help. Still decided to get the Nvidia card for better fps in other games.

Got new drivers for the card. Installed them, tried turning off AA - this time there was a 0 to 2x setting, also tried letting application decide, and then tried the workaround. Still no success! At least the game still plays OK on my old computer. Am thinking about getting a better Nvidia card in the near future.

yes, there is a setting for AA, but when you turn if off you are still given a 2x to 16x setting, so 2x is as low as it goes; however, I am taking your advice and will look up new drivers to see if this is helpful. Thanks for the reply. I will update any results!

I cannot get readable text info in game, after trying all the fixes suggested on this site, including the workaround file replacement. I have WindowsXP and a Radeon HD2400 card (from Dell)that cannot have all anti-aliasing turned off - it only goes to 2x at it's lowest, and I've also turned off adaptive anti-aliasing. Does anyone have other suggestions?
