I too just recently bought this UK retail version and was gob smacked that no patch out yet and does not get released in a timely manner when BF have released theirs. I have to say this game looks and feels soooo coooolat the moment and with a few minor tweaks and some good scripts could even top CMSF for playability to me. Please get a patch sorted ASAP

I packed the game away one week after release and have always played something else whilst waiting for the patches. I actually got hooked on WOW for a bit so never really re-loaded this game back up till now. Anyway, I got round to downloading the 1.07 patch and gave it a go where my expeierence was sooooo much improved from the early days. This game has got much much better and I am now starting to really enjoy it. Well done Battlefront and keep the updates coming. I must say that I am at a lost of what are good downloadable campaigns and missions for a singleplayer so any suggestions of names and place to download would be great. A list of the best 10 would be appreciated Thanks

I have played the past titles but never stuck with them because more interested in the HOI series etc. Now I am not a frequent visitor to this site or neither am I a big fan of the game history. I just feel this game has great potential and the fact that BF have some hardcore and loyal fans make me think I should at least give the devs a chance before dumping the game and as they say picking up another game and classing this as a bad move. 1.3 made huge improvemnt for me but there is still some more things that need doing as others have already stated. So I am popping in to say that not all noob users have yet jumped the ship but I do think you guys whom know and trust BF should give others users a bit more optimistic posts regarding updates like this one. Otherwise the casual noob users will most likely jump the ship and then = no growing fanbase = no money = no better products. Come on BF Please dont go on my list of to avoid devs

Thanks for the warm welcome. I did do a few mods on damage model etc but spent most of my time testing the AI sensors. Funny you mention it as I just got sh3 again and am thinking of adding a randomising script to go with sh3 comander after release of greywolves 1.4. Anyway, I think we are not allowed to mod the core of this game and I am no good unless it is simple hex and notepad data files to fiddle with. Just have a hunch this game will get bigger and better over time. Getting old now and only have a few games that I bother to invest my money and time in playing. I like the modern approach but like others, cannot wait to see a WW2 version. That said, I do hope the modern side is not dropped in favour of going back to WW2. And bring a Brit pack into it. I like the editor and maybe could create maps/missions in time. In the meantime, I am learning the game and eagerly awaiting the next patch. Come on BF, give me more.

Hi all noob memeber here just calling in to say hi to all and that I think this game has great promise if supported with the patches in a timely manner. Well done BF devs . Obviously the game was released at little early with the bugs and all but I think it is fair to say that most games are being thrown out early lately :mad: . The big thing is how fast the immediate needed patches are releaed and the commitment by the devs to continual improvement :cool: . Hopefully the community can pump some talent into a already talented base game. I have played the previous titles and have had the paradox CD version for a few days now. Personally, I love the paradox games and from what I have seen, they have always been improved over time so despite the demand for early releases etc, I think Paradox are pretty cool to go into business with. (Man would I love a cross between HOI Doomsday and CM they could charge £300 and I would get it) Anyway enough of the dev butt kissing, Release the next patch NOW (then I will rank you along with the devs from Silent Hunter 3 whom despite a dodgy game i the early days, left so much open to the community, the mods are wicked)
