I hope this has not been asked before, I did search but found nothing so here goes: I have a question about wounded Infantry, can you heal them? or is there destiny doomed to a slow and painful death? I could not see anything about this in the manual, but I may have overlooked this Jekyll

I actually have ToW on my Vista Machine and its the 64-Bit version and ToW works perfectly, its only the Mission Editor that does'nt work, however the Map Editor does work........strange, still as I say it looks like this may never get sorted and I'll use my XP drive for the game instead when its done. When I say it looks like it may never get sorted, I mean from Microsofts perspective no-one elses, which is very bad, still we'll see, you never know knowing my luck as soon as I have bought my new HD and XP is installed a fix will appear Jekyll

I'm glad that I am getting XP again then, if I want to use the Mission Editor I can take Vista out and stick XP in and away I go, shame to have to do this but if its the only way then so be it. Then again I am not that great with Editors so I hope this one is idiot proof Jekyll

My mistake I forgot to mention that I have the 64-Bit version, oh well no matter as I will have to install the game on the XP HD and then I'll be good to go. Many thanks Madmatt Jekyll

Madmatt, I don't want this to sound like I am asking too much, but is there any word on having the Editor working with Vista? I only ask really as I may be getting a new HD for Vista and using my current one for XP, as I just bought XP again, so I would really like to know if there is anymore info about this. Thank you MadMatt for your response, yes Microsoft leave alot to be desired. Same as the Service pack that is still not released, last I heard was February, and I heard that yesterday! Many thanks anyway, looks like we are stuffed then, those of us with Vista 64-Bit, I only had a whole new system built in July ready for the future of DX10 and 64-Bit OS's It was the right time for me, but this leaves me feeling like it will never happen Jekyll

Hi, I apologise if this has been asked before, although I don't think it has but it is known, I have Windows Vista 64-Bit, and of course the Editor does not work, Mission Editor that is, the Map Editor is fine Is this ever going to be sorted out only I would love to try my hand at making the odd mission, I mean the Map Editor is pretty pointless to me if the Mission Editor is not working. I hope this will/can be fixed for those of us on Vista 64-Bit Jekyll

I guess I still can't get out of the old CM games then

Hi, I am having a problem getting a Pbem game to work, a friend sent me a file and I have it in the incoming mail folder, when I go into the game the file is there, but when I try to load it, I get the password screen up, and then I go past that as we have no password, then I go to go on, but instead of being able to setup my units etc......I end up getting asked to save the file, and then I am back at the main game menu........I'm confused.....can someone please help me? We both have virtually identical machines apart from you have XP an I have Vista and you have the GTS version of the Graphics card, all our systems should run it without breaking into a sweat, I can at last run Supreme Commander very well with all maxed out too, Stalker is or was not so good, but I'll have to reinstall to see how that fairs with the latest drivers, but I was really looking forward to this game and then when I tried it, it first locked on me and then it played but with terrible frame rates, I, like everyone else hopes this will get sorted as quickly as possible. I've been a huge fan of the CM series of games and still remain so, but it is ridiculous that this game does'nt perform well on high spec machines considering other more intense games play perfectly. I have the same card as you plus this: Intel Core 2 Duo 6600 @ 2.40GHz 2 Gig DDR2 Vista 64-Bit OnBoard Sound And performance is the same extremely poor Jekyll
