Rarity expresses how common a particular
vehicle is in the army in any given month
during the war.
Older models of tanks become rarer,
as they are destroyed or replaced
by newer models...newer models are rare
at first, maybe only a few select battal-
ions get them...then become common.
Rarity acts a multiplier of unit point
cost: rare vehicles (not necessarily good
tanks, just rare)cost more points; common ones less.
Hope that's clear...

Highliner-
'Carentan'is on the way to you...

It is indeed, von Lucke...
9 battles, each 20 turns fixed...
It requires a little commitment....

Any cunning, resourceful bastards out there
want to play this classic PBEM? I loved 'Carentan' back in the CMBO
days, and recently stumbled upon
the remake(by Pud) for CMAK.
I'm good for at least a couple turns
a day minimum, often more when I have
the morning off:)
Will play either side happily...
Cheers,
Matt

Hey George,
Currently fighting the final battle of
"Peiper's Chariots Of Fire" (PBEM, I'm
Soviet)and I've gotta say that the
aggressive use of SPW's by my opponent
just creates lots of KO'd SPW's....
Without tanks, I shot 'em to bits with
ATR's and 45mm ATG...with tanks, the
same but they explode...you can kill
'em with the ubiquitous 50mm light mortar
as well...
Fun battle, though Thanks for your work!

And of course some vehicles are
rare regardless because there were
simply not many built; e.g Ferdinand
SP guns; only 90 or so ever built IIRC.
