  1. If that's the case, then it's a bug in half the missions' scripting. I've seriously had this happen more times than I can count, and I've worked my way through most or all missions in the Allied, French, German, and Russian campaigns. I gave up on the Polish campaign for a while because of the same issue after two missions, but I'm going to try it again once there's a patch.
  2. for sure. Either get rid of units that stop when movement orders are issued, or allow us to drop waypoints... one or the other will be enough for me. Not to mention ending the stupid whack-a-mole mission completion requirements. If I'm supposed to destroy an attacking force, and I wipe them out or rout them, why does the mission go on for three more hours before the game crashes?
  3. I don't necessarily dislike the LOS/LOF currently in the game, but it doesn't make a lot of sense. When I play, AT guns that I cannot see nail my tanks and infantry (!) with first-round-on-target accuracy, enemy tanks snipe my AT guns in one shot, and my forces generally get slaughtered at 1500 m despite crawling around in what appears to be tall grass. Maybe I'm not doing things right, but if that's the case then the game needs a much more obvious overlay of cover/concealment information. My ten years of playing the Close Combat series with realism mods and the time I spent with the original CM don't have a lot of value here.
  4. I agree completely about ending missions. It's ridiculous... I've had to restart at least one campaign mission (the British farm defense one) three times in order to end it, because the enemy was quite literally not visible. Trolling the map with every unit I had didn't reveal them, and all mission goals (except the "fend off the German assault) were complete.
