  1. I knew in CMx1 you can have battle damaged buildings, or ones on Fire... LOL Since Fire is not really modeled yet does any of the Beta testors or Admins know if there are verying degrees of battle damaged buildings? Also will damaged also be modeled with Bridges, or do we simply just not finish a bridge to give the impression that it has been destroyed?

I am just anxious to begin some beautiful artwork.... LOL the Editor is my canvas...

    Semper Fi.

    hi,

like in CMSF, you can chose to destroy walls, or the entire building, in the editor.

Concerning bridges, you can chose whether they are intact or destroyed.

  2. Hey guys !

I have a question for the beta testers and the staff :

I tried looking for an answer using the research mode, but didn't find anything interesting.

I am currently creating a mission in which I wanted to make an engineer platoon destroy a bridge.

They have demo charges, I set an "explode" order on the bridge, they lie down and do nothing.

So my question is : is it possible to destroy a bridge using infantry ?

    Thanks a lot.

  3. I would be pleased if we could un-register a CMSF module on the internet, I mean, without having the game installed on a computer.

For instance, during the last 8 months I've lost my data twice (once thanks to a thunderstorm, the second thanks to a crappy hard drive).

In this case I had to re-install all the modules and guess what ? I had to contact BF to reset my keys. Loss of time, loss of activations.

An unregistration tool on BF website would be really useful, and wouldn't create more piracy.

This is just an opinion of course ^^

  4. Dear Members,

Don't be jealous and let me give a bit of an explanation.

Having received a preview version, I asked Martin if I could post a few screenshots at the French community reference website www.appui-feu.com

    He agreed.

I must say that I can't garantee in any way that those screenshots will be acurate when the game is launched, including this splash screen ^^

So this is no fake nor leak ;-)

I only had the preview for a day and the only word coming to my lips is : woaow !

If at any moment Martin asks me to remove one or all of the screenshots, I will of course comply.

  5. Do not hesitate to mention any English mistakes, I'm not english native so I wan't to present you some understandable briefings :-p

For the French version, just mail me !

About the lethality, it shouldn't be a problem because this is a mission involving barely a dozen of men each side (and yes, it's still interresting to play :- ) ).

Thx for your comment solomon ! Hope you'll enjoy the map and the mission. Some objectives bug but I don't know how to fix it...

[Edit]Have now downloaded the map and loaded it up. It ran fine just scrolling around the map but I haven't tried adding any units. It could probably be used for a nice convoy ambush scenario. By the way, I was surprised that Kabul would have such wide roads and open spaces. Is this typical of the rest of the city or just this sector? Anyway, nice map!

Violet road is the Kabul/Jalalabad road, where most of the military bases are located its in the vicinity of downtown, most of the buildings are warehouses or businesses, some shops and fields on the other side and it is always crowded, here is a little video :
