Camera panning much smoother. Now I can watch the effects of being a bad commander in greater cinematic fidelity!
Many thanks BFC!

I hope you feel shame for that remark.
I understand your point of view. But I think that Barley swillers have a choice about their habit and should not be treat with leniency or as victims of our degenerate society.

I think that crew should not be drinking so much barley.

Clearly they are cereal offenders....

No wonder the German's lost the war!

Great views. Good enough for a travel brochure. Looks very peaceful. Think I might visit it soon on holiday.

Waiting patiently....

Have to agree. A lot of time and thought can go into setting up units in optimal defensive positions. Then there's decisions to be made when a breakthrough looks imminent. Should you send the last Panzer up to close the breech.... or exit your forces to fight in the next prepared defence (the next scenario of the campaign)?
Having these choices within a campaign would be a great test of tactical skills.....

Hard luck.....looks like it's a realist for you!

Moon,
Thank you for your reply to my concerns. It's this personal customer service that makes me think that true customers won't have any problems.
Regards.

Sheesh....well I've pre-ordered it already

I don't know if I'd use up 4 activations in 1 year - I haven't done with CMSF. But I know when I buy a product, I'd expect a guarantee and/or insure it. That way I have piece of mind that IF there were to be a problem, then I'm OK.
Four activations a year does not give me the confidence I need from this product.
Has there been any discussion as to why the accepted method (eLicence) has to change?

As a doctor, I'm delighted that someone's looking at this in a scientific way. I suspect (though can't prove) that "the integrity factor" in medicine is well above average when compared to some other professions. What does this say for our financial, legal and political systems....

CAUTION about reverting to 1.30
I just played my scenario for testing, it works fine, but read here after, what goes wrong.
I thought, I had done it right to revert to 1.30. I did indeed, but the names of the units of the scenario made previously are a mix of German and UK and who knows what !
In the Editor the name of the country units are Stummel, TRP, Tribial Militia.........
everything seems to be mixed up.
Following what I have written and applied, what went wrong ? Any idea.
Yes. I had the same thing with Quick Battle. I've since done a complete re-install to a separate folder. The "lazy" way didn't work out.
-
I have v1.31 (hence the German PzFaust problem).
So, I copy the entire CMSF 1.31 folder to another folder called (say) CMSF130, then apply the 1.30 patch to the CMSF130 version? Of do I need to reinstall NATO?
There isn't a 1.30 patch.....simply copy then re-install NATO (browse to your 1.30 directory)
-
My guess, but I didn't test it.
- Copy the complete CMSF map to a second location.
- Reinstall the NATO module, pointing the installer to the new location
- Make a shortcut to the .exe in the new location and call it CMSF 1.30
Yes! This works... Thanks Erik

.....blush.......

Looked at KnowledgeBase and seems second install on one computer is allowed and should be easy. I'm not so sure where to get patch 1.30, though....
Edit: Doh.... NATO module is 1.30
-
I'd be prepared to install a second copy of CMSF so that I can play the German campaign.
How can we do this, please?

Looks to be a fantastic scenario. Reading your briefing I could feel the horror that awaits them when I load this up tonight! Many thanks for your hard work !!
