  1. Thanks sneaksie, I "think" I have sorted the multiplayer setup through the game, ( didn't have the proxy set up right ), if that still doesn't work I will go back to Hamachi. Thanks again!
  2. Hi All Just got the game and want to play online with a friend. So far completely stumped on how to get a multiplayer game setup. Have tried forwarding ports, etc and have not got anywhere. So have tried Hamarchi, both myself and friend have downloaded this and set it up. But can anyone tell me what I do next, as in how do I get TOW2 to play through Harmachi??? Do I go through the multiplayer "Lan" part or what? Any help greatly appreciated!!!
  3. Quick update.... I've got a multi mission working, by referencing mission 8 ( clash of titans ). But I would still like to know why it works as opposed to what I've done which involved lots of copy/paste but no real knowledge!
  4. I've been working my way through Webwing's excellent tutorials, but he doesn't seem to cover multi player ( unless I've missed it ). Can anyone help explain what you need to do to create a Lan mission. I have looked through the word doc on the mission editor but I'm afraid cannot understand the bit concerning "creating a network game" It's all this mention of Point Pairs and ... Player_N_army_pos and Player_N_army_target Player_K_depl_pos and Player_K_depl_target Plus the rest of the paragraph that follows??? What does it mean ? Any help greatfully excepted ! 5. Brilliant tutorials.... just one request, can you PLEASE do one for setting up a multiplayer game. I've been reading and re reading the word doc but can not make head or tail of what to do ! Many Thanks in advance !
  6. Hi, long time lurker here but I now have the game and had experienced same problem so thought it best to pass this on. Madmatt says it's a problem with all those who ordered both D/L and mail version. Well I went for that option as well. And the other night (around 2 AM !) I finally managed to get the license accepted. Jarhead, I feel your pain. When I loaded the game ( after the demo running without problem ) I was faced with the already documented *game won't start*. Adding runservice.exe to my Data Execution Prevention tab sorted that. I then got the e-licence box up. It didn't accept my code and I eventually tried the "activate off line" option. Again this didn't work for me, but thats because of operator area, as I later found out. When following the instructions about "copy the entire code". I had been first cut and pasting just the numbers below the dashed line, then had included the serial number bit. I was then getting the red warning text, as have you. Out of desperation I finally tried copying the entire information box, and dumped the whole lot into the box. Then went back to the instructions and followed them to the letter... and it worked! It's been two days now and I'm sorry I can't remember exactly what sequence I went through once I'd copied the text. If you think your problem maybe the same as mine am happy to install the game onto another computer to get the e-licence setup on again which should jog my memory. Hope this helps.
