It's slower, but to be honest - who cares? Even my old 7800GTX is about 10 times as fast as CMx1 needs, now it's only 5 times, eh I didn't play with it too much but I think some AA/AF control might not make it through these layers so there is slight visual degradation, a slightly grainy look. I haven't played much CMx1 since I retired my Windoze box but if there's real interest I can make a comparison with pictures. </font>

I am seriously considering putting Win 9X or XP on dual boot on my machine, just for the eyes of CM1x. Does anyone had any return about how the GF8X00 series works under older windows and DX9 please? Redwolf, what do you mean by "not perfect" under Cedega? Can I have some more details about the performance please? Thanks in advance. AJ

Well it could be made CLEAR that there is a quite proven incompatibility with DX10 cards and Vista for a start. It's not like the product isn't being sold anymore... If you can't support technically a game anymore, are you supposed to go on selling it without telling the customers what may go wrong? Im a battlefront consumer who owns two products, I love CM, and when I buy a product, I expect at least some technical feedback, or warning... I mean at least we absolutely need to know what is the problem right now: the Card, and/or the OS/DX10? I suppose it's card related right? But I need a confirmation... Come on, Battlefront could AT LEAST pretend to show some interest... We're still stuck (just got myself CMBB) and they didn't EVEN care to post a single tip or comment... Ive got Vista Pro 32, a 8300 GS, and this just SUCKS. I mean, my computer in China was running CMAK better than that, and we don't even deserve some attention from Battlefront? Man that's not cool. No wonder they said "the CMBB special edition support is a little different". No kidding...

Hello everyone Like a lot of people here I have a lot of great expectations for this game, and Im pretty sure most of them will be fulfilled. Browsing on the pages, I came accross certain in-game data concerning the French hardware that didn't sound that good, so I just wanted to do what I could to help to correct a few mistakes: - Hotchkiss (the french H-35 tank manufacturer) takes two S, not a single one as it is the case right now - There is a problem with the designation of the B1bis tank. It reads "Bataille Char" while it should be "Char de Bataille", which reads "Battle tank". But this current "Bataille Char" is a non-sense, and would be equivalent to something like "WagenPanzerKampf" instead of "PanzerKampfWagen" for instance, in addition of being gramatically irrecevable just a couple of suggestions then, but thanks for the work already accomplished on that topic. It's so rare to see 1940 Frenchs simulated in such an ambitious game that Im happy already with what is in there Cheers and merry Christmas AJ
