I think the patch is great. I think this game is great. Life is good.

I love this game. Is there any way to slow down the Russian preparation for war through 1941? I'm not clear on the proper garrison levels that will minimize their percentage increase each month (assuming there is one). Anyone that can explain in plain language (as opposed to code from the editor) would be appreciated.

Speaking of evacuation, I seem to recall being able to evacuate armies in SC I when there was no port present (unless I'm thinking of another game). This would enable you to re-create something like Dunkirk. I looked for the evacuate command when my invasion of Sicily the other day failed to take the port and my army was stuck there. Is there a way to evacuate without a port?

I for one don't think the AI any worse than most other war/strategy games these days, and I look forward to it "learning" over the coming months as the scripts get tweaked. I've been playing with the difficulty turned all the way up, and it's providing a decent enough challlenge at this stage (considering my skill level, anyway). Love the game. Hubert is the Man. Just starting to look for PBEM games now.
