Wow, that was fun today! Sorry I had to bail after just a couple of games but it was time to eat. Anyway, well done to everyone who made it. More later perhaps.

Sounds good to me. Also, if it ends up feeling off balance due to a 3 on 2 situation, one player could switch sides to give the other team the advantage for awhile.
Anyone out there who might still be reading this forum should seriously think about joining us for some fun this Sunday. The problem with DropTeam has always been the low number of players to play against, but since we still have a regular time where you will be guaranteed to have some teammates, why not play? (outside the obvious issues around "real-life")

That was a pretty crazy end to the Low Dunes CTF game yesterday....I thought there was just 1 second left when you scored jby.
As far as Dead Gulch is concerned - I agree, too many bots have to be disposed of for being stupid.

As previously mentioned in 152 Dumbrocket's post, 152 and I are teaming up this Sunday to take on a team I'm hoping will be comprised of jby and Stonewall. It would be great if any other players who haven't been on in while dropped in and swelled the ranks a bit, so we could have an old-time team battle. Hope to see you there on Sunday!

I have been pleasantly surprised to find people playing the last few times I've checked the servers. Previously I had gone weeks without even bothering to check, except Sundays.
Personally I was attributing RAT@$$' play with his inexperience. God knows when I started playing I made a lot of mistakes. Anyway, it's nice to see some new players who are playing fairly often.
jby - as 152 mentioned, we have agreed to fight together on Sunday, so I'm depending on you (and hopefully Stonewall) to provide some stiff opposition! We'll split up any other players who show amongst the two teams.

Awesome battles yesterday! We had 3 on 3 for most of the the battles, which was a lot of fun - there is nothing like a bit of teamwork.
Also, it was nice to team up with jby for a change; we always seem to be on opposite sides.
As for Phonan's driving, anyone who complains that a Shrike flips too easy should have seen this guy yesterday during a ctf game on Low Dunes! Jby had captured the opponents flag and I was responsible for recovering our flag, which Phonan had. I swear I chased him around the map for a good 15 minutes without catching/killing him - I even used emp/fire strike twice but managed to miss him?!?!?!? Well done Phonan!

Regretfully I missed today's battle. We've got to get our act together and see if we can't get at least a 2 on 2 game going...I miss having teammates to scheme with.

I've got to get some lunch and consume some intoxicants and I'll be ready to play for awhile. How about we try to play for 3:00 pm Eastern North America time - as in the usual Sunday time - does this work for you Rua and jby? (and hopefully more)

Actually Stonewall, Game Ranger is new to me. I was just checking it out for a sec and it looks quite interesting. Since we both play around the same times during the week and are both restricted to games by our chosen platform (Mac), I think staying in touch on the subject makes good sense. I'll e-mail you soon.

Geez Stonewall! Here we are, apparently at the end of time for Dropteam, and you finally get around to posting on the forum!
Oh well, if this is really the end of Dropteam I want to take a second to thank all of you dedicated players out there who have made this game such a fun experience. I gotta admit I'm a little sad to see it end, as we had some truly awesome battles.
Clay, thanks for the unique game. Dropteam was the first online game I played which really was a team game. Sorry it didn't work out better for you guys.

Hey guys....I'm still going to busy for the next couple of Sundays, it's just that time of year. I will be back when I can, but for now I hope some of you are still meeting to battle it out on Sunday afternoons.

Remembrance Day at 11:00 AM, as the day and hour that the Great War came to an end, is what is commemorated in Canada and across (I believe) the Commonwealth.
Certain lessons must never be forgotten; the price was too high.

Redcon: I went on at 11:00 and played a game while waiting, but I guess you haven't gotten home yet and I'm getting sleepy. Looks like we'll have to postpone the final showdown once again.

There hasn't been anyone playing regularly for a while now, from what I can tell at least. The best time to find players used to be around 8 or 9 pm EST. If you are going on still I'll take an occasional look so we can at least shoot each other a bit.
